We believe that children learn best

Our holistic early childhood program follows inspiration from the seasons as well as the children’s natural interests. We believe that children learn best through hands on experiences that are meaningful to them. Our program is play based, child led and teacher guided. We strive to intentionally create a safe and supportive environment that promotes joyful exploration, inspiration, autonomy, curiosity and true play. Our curriculum is guided by the interests of children enrolled, and is aligned to the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards (RIELDS) in order to prepare each child for future schooling. In addition to integrating literacy and math concepts throughout the course of each day, a typical day at our center includes singing, dancing, creating open ended art, science experiments, yoga practice, building, storytelling, sensory experiences, problem solving, working on social skills, and plenty of time outdoors. At our center we nurture each child’s entire being; mind, body and spirit. Our program offers the best of both worlds; the warmth of a home with the education of a center.
